Chicago Extreme Bumper Plates - OBPXK

The Body-Solid Chicago Extreme Bumper Plates are designed for intensive and professional use. They are made to withstand repeated weight drops and combine high durability with a relatively thin design. Thanks to the thinner design, more weight can be loaded onto an Olympic barbell.

All plates have a diameter of 45 cm, in accordance with the IWF standard, and feature a 50.8 mm hole for Olympic barbells. The smooth black finish gives the plates a sleek, professional appearance. Body-Solid states that the plates are factory tested for drops and intensive use.

The major advantage of these bumper plates is their relatively low thickness. Compared to thicker bumper plates, a full set takes up less space on the barbell. This allows the user to load more weight on the bar before the available space on the sleeves is used up.
